Our dedicated black copper Marans rooster (Ham) is on a mission—and the results are spectacular! He takes care of a small-scale flock of blue and blue copper Marans hens, creating a variety of likely speckled laying beauties in different color depths. Our blue copper hens are also notorious for gifting us with heavy mauve and pink-ish blooms. Each egg carries the potential for gorgeous chicks with rich, dark plumage and those signature Marans characteristics. Perfect for flock diversity and egg color enthusiasts who love a little genetic surprise in every hatch! The offspring from this combination are always expected to lay a combination of blue and/or black Marans with varying shades of brown eggs.
